Children’s “Little Church”
St. John parish offers children “little church” during Sunday morning mass. After the gospel, children go into the parish hall to have their own age appropriate gospel time. There are songs and short activities for the kids.
- Children must be baptized
- We would like a copy of their baptism on file for our records if they were baptized at a parish other than St. Michael’s and St. John’s
- We would like the children to be familiar with The Act of Contrition
- Students and families are required to attend the First Communion Retreat
- We would like the children to begin reading and memorizing the Our Father, Hail Mary and Glory Be prayers
- We ask you to attend church with your child and allow them to get very familiar with the church itself
- We ask you to continue to go to Confession with your children after the celebration
First Communion:
- Children must be baptized
